Hi all! I want to kick the forum off by letting us all get to know each other a little better. Maybe say hey with some basic stuff, like your name/handle, what your background is, and what you're excited about right now in your life? I'll start!

I'm Way, creator of Glitchet. I went to an art school but failed to procure an art degree because I was too busy learning to code so I could make a Minecraft server instead. I got really into web development, and now I work as a front-end developer professionally. Eventually I found glitch art, and it captured my heart - and now I ply my skills towards curating the Glitchet newsletter, Tumblr, Facebook, etc. I'm most excited about learning more about different video file formats right now via datamoshing, as well as creating some glitch-related projects! I really wanna work with drones when I get the chance, too, and I'm digging into digital wearables a little bit.

Heyo! I'm in my last sem doing a weird degree that's a mix of interaction design, video, 3D, a touch of robotics and programming. I love most things that explore our relationship with technology.
Right now our final assignment is building the interaction around a cocktail-making kuka robot.

I'm curious and keen to see how this forum goes and explore more

I've been working with Glitch Art for about three years now, I've got a Bachelor's of Fine Art with a focus on printmaking. Hi bug people!

I'm Ed and tottaly new here as in the field of visual experimentation.
Got a visual design degree and I'm getting into the weird stuff for now...just getting there by tiptoes.
Right now I'm kind of lost, this world got me... seeking everything trying to find my style into the visuals.
I'm really excited about datamoshing and getting a little dispointed that I can't find a way to export exactly what I have moshed into formats such as h.264 I think I'll have to study a bit more about compressions and decompressions. Hope to find it here at Glitchet.
Also, I intend to dip into visual performances such as mapping visuals, analog manipulation!
